Great News for Diabetic Cats In Need!

Hi, everyone.  I hope you are enjoying your day.  Today is Sunday, so my human just got back from yoga class and he told me he did several cat poses.  Jacey and I just looked at him and thought, silly human, you will never be as flexible as us so don’t even try. This is an easy pose for a diabetic cat like me but not for my humanFor example, this is an easy pose for all felines, even diabetic cats like me.  But for humans it is not so easy.  We are flattered that our human is trying to copy us, but we are also amused at how he tries so hard to gain flexibility but he’s still nowhere near what we felines can do!

But my human told me there was great news about Diabetic Cats In Need.  As you can imagine, an organization that helps diabetic cats is one that I give four paws and two thumbs up to.  They were entered in a contest to win $1,500 in credit at a low cost veterinary clinic in Richmond, Virginia.  DCIN was the winner of this contest put on by Helping Hands.  We were sure they won the contest last week, but it was made official.

Now isn’t that great news for your Sunday?  And how kind is Helping Hands to not only give DCIN $1,500 in credit, but to hold a drawing for another $1,000 credit and to give all of the organizations that participated in the contest $75?

Jacey and I give them Diabetic Cats In Needfour paws up, and I think you humans should give them all a big hand.  Their generosity will help many organizations take care of four legged creatures like me who need some help.

Speaking of DCIN, remember, they have many wonderful diabetic cats who need new homes.  It is a little more challenging to take care of one of these great felines, but if you are willing to open your heart and home to them, I am sure DCIN would love to hear from you.  What better way to celebrate adopt a shelter cat month than to take in one from DCIN?
