Diabetic Cats in Need has saved many cats, and now they are looking to save another one. This feline lives in Denton, Texas, and he was surrendered by his humans because they did not have the green paper things needed to care for a diabetic cat.
I am sure they were very sad to have to surrender a feline who is only three years old, and who is a very handsome cat. Marco, as this cat is known, is a Siamese mix with very sharp looking markings.
Sadly, Marco is not as fortunate as me because I not only have a human who has enough green paper things to care for a diabetic cat, but because I also live in a place where the local animal rescue groups have pledged to not euthanize any adoptable cats. That means that should something happen to the human, I would not be at risk of being euthanized.
You see, where Marco lives, the local shelter still euthanizes animals even if they are healthy. And Marco is running out of time. According to Diabetic Cats in Need, if he does not get someone to pull him before the end of the day on July 10, he will be euthanized.
Furiends, it would be very sad if this feline was to leave us because nobody could care for him. It is very sad that the humans who he was living with did not have the green paper things needed to treat a diabetic cat. And it will be even more sad if he has to leave us because nobody can pull him.
If you can help find Marco a home, please contact the shelter so that he can be saved. And if you cannot, please share his story. The more people who know about Marco, the more likely it is that he will be saved.
