Furiends, I will tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. But before I do that, I must tell you that I am very sad about what happened in Las Vegas. I do not know what gets a human to want to harm so many other humans. It does not make any sense to me. And I am a cat who does not hesitate to give a swat to Jacey, Koji or the human!
I heard there are hundreds of humans who are in hospitals because of this horrible attack. I send healing thoughts to all of them, and to the humans who are suffering because they lost loved ones.
And furiends, since I am telling about my blood sugar readings, if you are looking for ways to help, I believe that you can give blood. If you do this, someone who needs it, whether it is because of the attack in Las Vegas or something else, can get the blood they need.
Now on to my blood sugar readings for the week. They averaged 198, which is much better than the 238 we saw the week before. The human was worried last week, because my blood sugar level was too close to where complications develop over the long run. Fortunately, this week, we dropped well below that level.
This does not mean that we can relax, furiends. One of the challenges for humans of living with a diabetic cat like me is that my blood sugar always has to be monitored. We do not know if what happens one week will continue.
But that is okay, furiends. The human knows he must do this, and it does not bother him. He committed to taking care of me when he learned I have diabetes. He is not going to back away from his commitment to me.
I will let you know about my blood sugar readings next week, furiends. And please send healing thoughts to those hurt in Las Vegas and their loved ones!
