Good morning, furiends. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. You can see me supervising the human here, making sure he tells you about them correctly.
For the week, my blood sugar readings averaged 148. That is lower than the week before, where they averaged 161. But while it is lower, it is not anywhere near the point where I will become hypoglycemic. The human and I are not worried about it.
During the week, there were a few times where we had to reduce my insulin dose. But even with the reduced insulin doses, my blood sugar levels stayed under control.
I think this is why the white coated humans said their testing showed my blood sugar levels were well managed. Hopefully, this continues. I do not want to go on the blood sugar roller coaster again. I hear you humans like roller coasters, but it is not fun for me when my glucose levels do that.
Speaking of fun, do you know what Koji likes to do to the human? He likes to dart out the front door and go for a run. He is smart. Koji will only do this when the human’s hands are full. If they are not, Koji knows he cannot do this because the human will get him.
We both get a laugh out of hearing the humans shout Koji’s name in an exasperated tone. And Koji will run down the hallway with his tail straight up in the air.
Koji annoys the human a lot when he does this. But the human calms down quickly. He is glad we do not live in a home where the entrance goes right outside. Koji would get in trouble!
I will tell you about my blood sugar readings next week, and hopefully, I will have more good news for you.
